Can I install an electric fireplace in an existing fireplace?

Often, yes. An existing fireplace opening can sometimes be reused for an electric insert if the dimensions, depth, surrounding materials, and electrical setup work with the selected unit. We inspect what is already there before recommending removal or additional framing.

Can you build a media wall around an existing brick fireplace?

Yes, when the existing brick and surrounding structure are in serviceable condition. In many cases, we can preserve the existing fireplace and build new framing around it for the TV, electric insert, cabinets, shelving, or other media components.

Can a TV be mounted above an electric fireplace?

Yes, depending on the fireplace manufacturer's clearance requirements and the planned TV height. We can add proper blocking for the TV mount and plan the fireplace, mantel, outlet, and cable locations before the wall is closed.

Do you build floating cabinets for media walls?

Media wall projects can include floating cabinets, base cabinets, side storage, open shelving, speaker compartments, and equipment storage. When practical, ready-made or modular cabinets can also be incorporated instead of building everything custom.

Do you provide drywall and painting after framing?

Yes. Depending on the project scope, we can handle the framing, drywall installation, tape and finish work, texture or smooth-wall finishing, primer, caulking, and final paint so the media wall is completed as one coordinated project.

Do I need to buy the fireplace before framing begins?

Ideally, the fireplace model should be selected before final framing begins. The exact model determines the opening size, depth, required clearances, installation method, and electrical location. If you already selected a unit, send us the model number or installation manual with your project photos.
