Assess the Current Fence: Check the condition of the existing fence posts and panels. If the posts are in good condition, you might be able to reuse them. Otherwise, you'll need to remove and replace them.

Remove the Old Fence: Carefully take down the old panels or planks.

Remove any old nails or screws, and dispose of the old materials properly.

Prepare the Area: Clear the area of debris and ensure the ground is level where the new fence will be installed.

Set the Fence Posts: Measure the distance between each post, ensuring they are evenly spaced.

Dig holes for the fence posts using a post hole digger. The depth of the hole should be about one-third of the total post height.

Place the posts in the holes and use a level to make sure they are straight.

Fill the holes with concrete, ensuring the posts remain level as the concrete sets. Allow the concrete to cure for 24-48 hours.

Attach the Fence Panels or Planks: If using pre-made panels, attach them to the posts using galvanized screws or nails. If using individual planks, start from one side and work your way to the other, spacing the planks evenly and securing them to the horizontal rails attached to the posts.

Finish the Fence: Apply a wood preservative, paint, or stain to protect the wood from the elements and prolong the life of your fence.

Inspect and Make Adjustments: Check the fence for any loose boards or screws, and make any necessary adjustments.

Ensure that the fence is sturdy and level.

Additional Tips: Planning: Before you start, check with local regulations to ensure you're allowed to build a fence of this type and height.

Straight Line: Use a string line to ensure your posts are in a straight line.

Sturdiness: Ensure posts are securely set in concrete, as they are the backbone of your fence. This guide should help you rebuild the fence shown in the image.
